Members of the community have been collecting water samples for analysis (sediment, nutrients and pesticides) for several years.  This site outlines all of the publications, projects and outcomes from our activities.

The Taroom Shire forms part of the Upper Dawson River Catchment in Central Queensland.  The Dawson River flows into the Fitzroy River, which ends at Rockhampton and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.

These documents have been developed by our group for the community, and are provided here on the understanding that they may be used and modified providing the following acknowledgement is included: Modified from an original document published by Taroom Shire Landcare Group Inc.
