Incentive for Natural Resource Management:These incentives are available through the Fitzroy Basin Association, to help improve natural resources and build better farm productivity by improving water quality, salinity, weeds and pests. Issues vary from region to region, which is why catchment groups have been created. These catchment groups help to identify needs, and allows experience and knowledge to be shared and gives support through funding and neighbours. The Upper Dawson Field Officer supporting the implementation of the neighbourhood catchment program. Priority catchments have been determined by the community (DCCA) and for 2006 include the following areas:
