Gambling Community Benefit Fund - Queensland Government The Fund provides one-off grants of up to $30,000 to Queensland based not-for-profit community groups. The closing dates for the grant rounds are: 31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December. The next closing date for applications to the Gambling Community Benefit Fund is 31 March 2007.
Australian Government Envirofund The Australian Government Envirofund is the local action component of the Australian Government's $3 billion Natural Heritage Trust. It helps communities undertake local projects aimed at conserving biodiversity and promoting sustainable resource use. Community groups and individuals can apply for grants of up to $50,000 (GST inclusive) to carry out on-ground and other actions to target local problems. National Landcare Program - Community Support Component Community Support funds local and regional landcare activities consistent with priorities in accredited, regional NRM plans and investment strategies. It complements the Natural Heritage Trust (NHT) and National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality (NAPSWQ) and funds community projects. These can include measures to combine production and conservation on farms, improve the skills of NRM managers, promote best management practice and better integrate natural resource management into business and property plans. Applications must be submitted to regional Natural Resource Management (NRM) organisations and received by COB Monday 26 February 2007.
